I have always been very curious about the things happening around world. I may look very normal to everyone but deep down I always search for something. Something that can give me thrill. I love my life. I am a hot, drop dead gorgeous girl more like 25 years old baddie. I have boys around me, thinking about me and craving for atleast one meetup. But those are not my type. They always feel nervous around me and I kind of feel that's not a type of men I am looking for.
(Hannah is about to go to another city for her new job)
(it's her first time living alone)
Hannah's Mother: I hope this new journey would be good for you. Even though I don't expect much from you .
Hannah's Father: Atleast talk to her nicely only for today. Take care of yourself and don't forget to enjoy.
( The relationship between me and my mother has always been uncertain. She never liked me because I am adopted.)
Hannah: It's okay Pa. Good bye. Good bye ma.
( Soon after I sit inside the cab. Thoughts after thoughts rushing in my mind. Even though my father had already looked for my new house for rent but I still feel heavy.)
After 8 hours of travel....
( I finally reach at airport. My father had already shared me the location of my new house.)
After reaching at door.....
( I called the number of landlord. After 5 mins he reaches to me. She was the woman of about 40-42 years old and doesn't look a kind of lady to be friends with.)
Landlord: So, You are the girl.
Hannah: Yeah. Nice to meet you.
Landlord: (ignoring her greetings) Here are the keys. Don't cause us any trouble and I can't take any delay in paying rents.
Hannah: Oh don't worry about that. I will pay you regularly.
Landlord Exits.....
( I open the door. I looked into the house. There was large living room. I kept my luggage and went further. There was a kitchen at right and stairs at left. I went upstairs. There was a room. I opened the door. A small cozy room with one bed and study table. There was a bathroom but it was in first floor. I changed my clothes and soon after started arranging my things.)
Soon after my phone rings...
Hannah: Hello?
Hannah's Father: Hello beta. Have you reached safely.
Hannah: Yeah pa. I reached.
(Hannah's Father was about ask her about house but then instantly her mother snatches phone from him.)
Hannah's mother: Don't expect us to pay your rent and essentials take advance payment or whatever just pay yourself and do the hell you want to do. We already have done our part by sending you there.
The call ends...
Hannah: Hell..o?
( It was not surprising and I was accustomed of it. I arranged some things then ate the lunch which I had took at airport. I found a bedsheet put that on the bed and slept soon after as I was very tired)
Next morning...
( I woke up late. I looked at the clock and almost chocked)
Hannah: Oh no!! 9:30 How can I be so irresponsible. First day and late...
( I got ready in rush and booked a cab as my father who cared for me gave me some amount of money but not enough to be able to pay my first month rent)
After reaching office...
( Everybody was looking at me strangely. I ignored them and sat on one of the empty cabin. As I was about to sit a man in black suit of about 35 year old came.)
Company Owner: New employee??
Hannah: ( stood up suddenly) Good morning sir.
Company owner: Have u looked at the time? Are u really out of your mind? first day and late. You will gonna pay for it.
Hannah: I am so sorry sir it will never happen again.
( Company owner exits without paying attention to my apology. Soon after one of the employee girl named Shanaya comes to me)
Shanaya: He is very time bound. By the way Hi!! I am Shanaya.
Hannah: Hi! Nice to meet you.
Shanaya: You are new here, Come let me show you the assignments to be completed.
( I work all day long and after completing all the work I go to Owner's cabin.)
Hannah: May I come in?
Company Owner: Yes.
Hannah: Sir Actually I am really sorry for coming late today.
( I am taking to him like a fool and he is just busy in reading his file as if I am not existing)
Hannah: Sir??
Company Owner: Listen, Don't give me strain. I am not here to listen sorry or accepting useless apologies.
Hannah: Sir Actually I want a favour. Sir Can I get advance payment?
Company Owner: Wow!! I am impressed. Now I got to know you are not only irresponsible but also shameless.
Hannah: But sir actually I have to pay my house r....
Company Owner: Get lost.
( So ridiculous. I am just quiet because I really need this job otherwise I would teach him some manners. I left his cabin and took a cab for home.)
After a month ....
Phone rings....
Landlord: Hello?
Hannah: Hello miss, actually...
Landlord: I had already told you to pay rent on time.
Hannah: Please just few more days. I promise I will manage the money.
Landlord: No more excuses. Your last date of payment had already passed. Now I will do what I need to do.
(She cuts the call. I just hope she does not depart me from home where will I go??)
After 15 mins...
(Landlord reaches Hannah's house)
Constant Knocking..
( I opened the door my jaw almost dropped. A boy of nearly aged about 30 standing with landlord with luggage in his hands.)
Landlord: Here is your new roommate...
